Lifestyle

Discussions of lifestyle choices mentioned in the overview of courses are not part of the main curriculum. They are purely voluntary and open to anyone. That means anyone, not just our students, can join the discussions free of charge. If you are interested in participating, please let us know via the contact form. The more people join, the better.

If the group is large, we could even get in touch with scientists conducting cutting-edge research on these topics and, on a voluntary basis, participate in their studies. Research in these areas is tragically underfunded at least for two reasons: (1) No pharmaceutical company stands to gain much in profits if a simple tweak extends people's health span. (2) National funding agencies prefer searching for a few interventions with major effects instead of looking for many small tweaks with modest effects, even if combined they can have a profound impact.
